Hi there….Happy Friday!!!
Wish I could say mine was good….but I had “A Day” today with my kiddos. Hopefully they sleep late in the morning.

Well,…….this HUGE bucket of M&M’s should cheer me up :)
Take a gander at this up-cycle:
I took this from my junk stash,

Told you I was thinking Halloween-y for this bucket.

It didn’t turn out quite as I imagined…..but it’s growing on me and I like it now.
(I think the big mound of chocolate candy helped considerably)

But, I think I want to use this bucket to put a “Halloween Tree” in. Think, black twiggy tree with cute Halloween ornaments.
I’ll keep you posted.
How I did it:
I took the snowman bucket (only .50 cents, by-the-way) and sanded it down a little. Otherwise, you would be able to see the shapes through the paint.
Then, after spray painting it black……I cut out a bunch of fun Halloween words in different fonts. I got my inspiration from some A-Dorable Halloween paper I just got from Making Memories (the words paper).
I used vinyl, but you could also cut them with your die cutter and decoupage the words onto the bucket. But, yours will probably look better than mine, since I had a hard time getting the letters on straight :)

  1. I LOVE it! I just informed my husband that I would like a Cricut for Christmas.

  2. Is that whole thing full of M&M’s?! I might have to get some chocolate for breakfast.

I definitely have to get a Cricut soon. I love your bucket. I think it will be very cute with your tree.

  3. That is a great transformation. Oh no, I must make one too. I hope you don’t mind me “borrowing” your idea. I luckily have a vinyl cutting machine. I also love the fonts your chose, that is what makes it grand.
    Thanks for sharing.

  4. I think it looks great – I would have to give it away though, we could never have that many M&Ms in our home!

    Cute Cute

  12. Your bucket looks awesome! I love the “halloween tree” idea. When you said that, it reminded me of this picture I saw somewhere a long time ago… Black spray painted branches, and on them were the “peach rings” candies, with an orange ribbon tied to them, and then hung on the branches. Would look very cool with your bucket I think :)

  13. I totally LOVE it!! You are sooooo creative…I have to say having a cricut is amazing…I have a few random buckets lying around, hope you dont mind if I copy you :):)
