Super Saturday Is CRAZY!!!

WOW!
So, I’m sure you’ve noticed that I’ve been a little MIA.
Well……
Our Super Saturday is TOMORROW!
(and I’m not ready yet…….but don’t tell anyone)
In case you don’t know what SS is,
It’s a cool Mormon thing.
(I don’t know who started it, but I LOVE her!)
It’s where all the ladies get together one Saturday a year…..and craft the whole day away :)
I always teach a class (or 2), so I’ll be up way late tonight.
But, please come back, cuzĀ I will be showing off the crafts I taught next week. They are cool! And maybe I’ll get permission to show off the other crafts too :)
Have fun!

  1. Man. I am so jealous. My home ward does a super saturday every year about this time and I always miss it. A lot. (We’re in a cheap-o student ward right now.) Please enjoy all the crafts double on my behalf. I so wish I could join you.

P.S. I am in charge of a craft enrichment tomorrow. A craft I did not choose. I would never choose gluing ugly foam things together. Sob.

  2. I am super jealous too! The area where I grew up did this, big time, but here they did it last year as a stake, but apparently it was a one time type thing. Boo!!!! I want crafts ;o)

    Have fun!!!!

  3. oooh i’m excited to see what you taught!!! (i loooooove super saturday!)

  4. Sounds fun!

  5. My ward is full of people who are no fun. We have nothing like this, EVER! We tried to do a craft Saturday two years ago and had some really neat things lined up, but only 8 people showed up. Do you know why this is? I do. Because our ward does not bond at all. I am going to vent here, because maybe someone will feel sorry for me. The Primary people are stuck with kids all the time, the Young Women leaders don’t come out to anything because Young Women planning (for 7 girls) takes all their time, the Nursery leaders are never told when anything is going to happen and the Relief Society women are too old to care. I love the people in my ward, but their attitudes bite. We are not a ward “family” and I don’t like it. Any suggestions? Thanks for letting me vent.

I would love to see what you have come up with!

  6. I love your blog and am anxious to see the crafts at your Super Saturday. We have one every year and I really enjoy it. I love to see what other wards are doing.
For the other sister I say don’t give up. Ward family activities is a good idea. We always have a talent show that everyone enjoys. Don’t be discouraged sometimes it takes more than one activity to get people to come out just keep going.
