Yesterday, me & the girls had a great time at Disneyland… now that I got a HEALTHY dose of Christmas cheer, I’m ready to get back to work!

Today I redecorated our front door…..super~easy to do!
Just whipped up a “Merry Christmas” on my vinyl cutter and added our wreath that I got for a DEAL last year after Christmas at Sam’s (LOVE those after-Christmas sales!).
So I took this……

Not bad, huh?

Needless to say….the girls LOVE it! Especially once I told them what it says :)

So, this brings me to the second order of business!
General Mills was kind enough to send me 4 FREE MOVIE TICKETS! and a coupon for a free box of cereal.
Now, who doesn’t like free movies tickets (and cereal)?
So, of course we went to the movies right away and put those freebies to good use :)
Also, since I never let my kiddos pick out their own cereal (can you say “sugar high?”), I was feeling nice and let them go crazy and pick a cereal that they wanted…..
Of course, having been taught to eat healthy, my girls immediately ran over to the brightly-colored, marshmallow-laden, boxes and proceeded to study each box carefully (like mommy does, but for the opposite reasons :)
Anyhoo, after much debate, they choose the ever~classic “Lucky Charms”.
But, I gotta say…’s really fun to indulge every once in a while and eat like a kid again (and then work out like crazy!).
It brought me back to my much younger years when we got the occasional sweet cereal and always ate the marshmallows out first :)
So, where am I going with this rattling on???
Well, the AWESOME folks over at General Mills want to offer one of my readers their very own 4 FREE MOVIE TICKETS & A FREE BOX OF YOUR VERY OWN SUGAR COMA CEREAL!
How cool is that!!!!
Especially just in time for all those cool Holiday movies coming out.
So, randomly picked,
Lindsay, from “Our Family Treat
Come on Down!!
Lindsay, e-mail me and give me your details and I’ll pass them on to GM (General Mills, not General Motors) so they can send your goodies!
Have fun!

  6. Hi! I’d love to know what kind of vinyl cutter you use? So many cool crafts with that!

  7. I recently found your blog and am loving it! I was wondering how you apply the different colors for your sign. I, too, have a vinyl cutter, but it’s a recent addition to my craft stuff, so I’m still learning. Thanks!

  8. Your door is so cute. Oh, how I wish I had a vinyl cutter! But if I did every wall in my house would be covered and that might not be good – lol.

    So cute!

  9. Emily – I’m with everyone else! I’d love to know which cutter you use (I have a Gazelle, but I can’t seem to figure out how to use it – arrrrrgh), and where you get your vinyl from for a good price? Thanks so much!

  10. Your door is the same color as mine! I should copy this idea!
