Somebody That You Used To Know

Hello all you out there!! Boy, have I missed you and blogging while I’ve been MIA.

So…….I’m back!! Yay!! I’m so excited and have TONS of fun stuff planned for us to do. So, visit often and say hi if you have time. I can’t wait to show you all sorts of fun things.

I didn’t want to relaunch my blog till I was sure I could stick around and do a really good job again and it killed me that I didn’t have time or energy all this time.

What have I been so busy with for almost 2 years, you ask?

Well, last August we relocated to Fort Collins Colorado and are LOVING it here! I’m originally from CO and happy to be close to my fam and enjoy the beautiful seasons here.

The kiddos are all in phenomenal schools here and Kira is in the preschool of our dreams!

Shortly after moving, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (in addition to migraine disorder). So, I launched a search to find help right away. Since then, I found a clinic that has not only helped my fibro, but also the migraines almost 90%!!

Something else that has commanded a lot of my time is our sweet tiny girl Kira. She has needed a lot more time and patience than our older 2 warranted, but she is doing fantastically nowadays! She is in her 3rd year of preschool and her speech has come a LONG way. She is still delayed by about 2 years, but we have found wonderful help through her new school and in our new community.

Anyhoo, things are great here and can’t wait to show you cool stuff….like this:

  1. So glad you’re back to blogging as usual! And really glad to hear that you’re having less migraines these days. We miss you in CA, but it’s great to hear that you guys are loving CO. :-) Can’t wait to see what you post in the days to come- that tool caddy is so stinking cute!

  2. Sorry to hear that you have fibro. I have been diagnosed with fibro for 5 years now. That’s great that you’re getting help from the clinic. I would love to hear what has helped you if you wouldn’t mind sharing, I haven’t been able to find anything that really helps. Can’t wait to read your new upcoming posts.

    • Hi Kayla~ Thanks so much…Sorry to hear about you as well, it’s a really difficult diagnoses to live with. I have been going to the Colorado Fibromyalgia Center in Lafayette, CO. Most of what they focus on is healing your body through physical therapies, nutrition, and whatever they find that pertains directly to your case. It’s a group of doctors and you see diff ones every few weeks who will concentrate on certain aspects of you symptoms. I really liked that approach. Hope this helps!

  3. So glad you’re back. I missed you.

  4. I am so excited to see you back to blogging! I’ve been cleaning out my archives and I came across a couple of the guest posts you did on my site and I just LOVE your ideas! If you ever want to guest post again, let me know, I’d love to have you!!! Welcome back!

    • Thanks so much! I just saw my etched glass jars on your site and it brought back memories :) I would LoVe to guest post….anytime!
