My kids have a lot of little hot wheels cars. They add up fast when they are sold in a 5 pack most places and my husband and I are always suckers to add a few more cool cars to their stash. (Santa tends to stuff them in their stockings each year too)
So simple and my kids loved it.
Another Pinterest idea I saw and finally decided to try was a “fizzy car wash”.
I finally remembered to get a huge thing of vinegar and awhile back I fell into a “Costco trap” and bought a giant sized bag of baking soda. (who could pass it up for $6?)
All you do is pour a generous amount of baking soda in a pan with an edge. Let your kids drive their cars through it until they are bored.
…And then pour vinegar over it and watch it fizz!
My only complaint about this activity was that the fizzing didn’t last for long, but with that much baking soda on hand we would just sprinkle more on!
Max’s only complaint was the taste…
Enjoy this time with your kids while they are still little and think such simple things are so fun!
