Well, we have come through the holiday season and had our little respite from parties and now we are thrown into “party~planning” mode once again. Hubby and I decided years ago that big parties would happen on even birthday years and the odd years would only be 1 or 2 friends going to the movies or something else simple.
Well, our #2 Aislyn will be 8 soon and this means 2 things: She gets a big party wherever she wants (which she chose here, so more work for us) and we also will be planning her baptism, which is so awesome (yes, I use that word a lot). So, I am starting now getting things ready, so I won’t be scrambling last minute…..like always.
So, I wanted to show a super easy idea for party favors (or Easter treats to hand out), since I need to go simpler these days.
Just start with a plain kraft bag (these are 5″ x 7 1/2″ and available in my Etsy Shop).
Throw some candy or toys inside and add some twine, a tag, and a cute tiny matching clothespin.
Ta-da! Super cute and easy.
You can also dress it up a bit more by stamping the whole thing with a pattern…
…Or just a cute little image.
Told you it was simple! To help you all out you can get the bags or even the whole kit in my Etsy Shop.
Stay tuned for more party ideas as we get closer to the big day.
