Unique Frozen Birthday Party Invites With Treat Inside Party~Part 2

Unique Frozen Birthday Party Invites With Treat Inside By: NotSoIdleHands.com

Like I said in my last post, we are in full birthday planning mode here, so that’s pretty much all I’ve been working on {and adding fun stuff to my Etsy Store}. So today I wanted to show some super fun invites I made for my kiddo to hand out to her friends for her upcoming Frozen themed birthday par~tay. I wanted to make something charming and surprising for her friends to start off the festivities early.

I started off with these plain white treat bags which are….BTW….printable. BOOM! Just blew your mind, huh?

I designed the invites and printed them straight onto the bags {*see below for tips on how to do this like a pro}

I had my girlies make a bunch of Fruit Loop necklaces in matching colors for a sweet surprise for the recipients.

Put ‘em inside and add some cute twine for a finishing touch.

And we are ready to party!!

These were super simple and very inexpensive to make and would be super fun for any party theme you have.

I decided to add these invite kits to my Etsy Shop, if you don’t want to hassle printing them yourself…..or even just the design.

Tips for printing on bags

* Make sure to set custom page size to the size of your bags {I used 5″ x 5″}.

* Under custom settings set paper to “envelopes”. It helps calibrate the cartridges a bit higher, so there’s less ink drag/smudge across your bags.

* Flatten the bags as much as you can before sending them through the printer.

* These bags are matte finish and you just need to use regular paper printing {not photo}.

I would LOVE to see pics if you use this method for your next party!

If you can’t get your printer to work for the bags, you can just print onto paper and cut it out and paste it onto the bags….

….looks just as cute!

Have fun!

  1. […] It all started with the invites. I had the idea to print them directly onto the white paper sacks and it worked great! You can read about it here. […]
