Here’s a shot of the snack table we set out. I wanted to have some fun things from the book that the guests would have fun tasting {even though they weren’t really magical} as well as visual fun to look at.

At first I set out to just get something that would be kinda similar to Treacle Tarts. But, the more I searched {to no avail}, the more I thought maybe I should try my hand at making some instead. I used this recipe here and for the crusts I used tiny ready~ made graham cracker crusts. Mine ended up boiling over a bunch….even when I filled them with less filling. So, I’m not sure if  I maybe should have stuck to the British recipe that doesn’t use eggs or not. Here is one that looks good here that I almost used. other than looking over~flowed, I thought they were quite tasty! The guests had mixed reviews and maybe that was because they weren’t used to the molasses in them….and they were very sweet too.

Bertie Botts Every Flavour Bean. I bought the Sams store brand and no could tell the difference and were relieved they didn’t get any icky flavors ;)

For the Golden Snitches, we got a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates and popped little wings on ‘em. The birthday girl did these herself!

And we couldn’t dare forget about Dumbledore’s Lemon Drops!! I used Lemonheads for these tasty sours.

With the Cauldron Cakes, I got lazy too and just used easy peasy brownie bites {you can grab these from your local grocery store too!}

Harry Potter Food Labels

Click above to get the labels for the snacks you can print out for your fun party. I printed them out onto parchment paper and inked the edges to make them look aged. Make sure you print them out several per page ;)
