2 Bite Valentine’s Cheesecake In A Jar

2 Bite Valentine's Cheesecakes In A Jar By: NotSoIdleHands.com

Valentine’s Day is coming soon and I wanted to make a little treat that would be cute and yummy!

Well, since I just LoVe cheesecake, I thought that would be a great treat to pop into some adorable teeny jars and spread some love around. Plus, I also just LoVe these itty bitty Weck jars {here in my Etsy Shop} and am always looking for a way to use them!

You’ll Need:

For the filling

1~ 8 oz block of cream cheese {at room temp}

1/4 cup of sour cream

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 cup sugar

For the crust

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup oatmeal

2 Tablespoons brown sugar

4 Tablespoons melted butter

Annnnnnd 6~7 Weck Mini Mold Jars

I started with the filling.

1. Whip the cream cheese till fluffy {this is important since it will help the ingredients bind smoothly}.

2. Add in the sour cream a little at a time and then whip till smooth.

3. Add the lemon juice and sugar, and mix well.

4. Lastly, add the coloring {if you want any}. Start off with just a bit and add more till it looks good.

Looks pretty! The mixture won’t be very thick, so put it in the fridge for 15~20 mins to set up a little, while you make the crust.

In one bowl, go ahead and add all the ingredients for the crust {graham cracker crumbs, sugar, oatmeal, & butter}. Mix it all till it looks like this…..or close.

Then, put 1~2 teaspoons into the bottoms of 6 or 7 adorable jars and press it flat.

Now add some filling. To make things easier….and a little cuter, I scooped the filling into a pastry bag and piped the it into the jars.

Then, sprinkle 1~2 more teaspoons on that and add another layer of filling. Then top it all off with some cute sprinkles! Throw these back in the fridge for 30 minutes….till firm.

Yummy! These are the perfect size for a sweet little treat!

Put the lid on and they’re ready to go!

**This recipe makes about 6~7 of these little jars with a bit of crust left over….for eating ;) This also works great in the tiny Mason jars, but will just 1 or 2 less since they are a smidgen bigger.

These are also great for birthday parties or any celebration.

Have fun!!
