By the looks of things online, Christmas is already upon us and going strong! Not that I’m complaining….It happens to be my favorite holiday (right before Halloween) and every year I end up making tons of seasonal crafts. Some of the ones I really love to always have around are kids crafts that are easy for my girlies to make and help decorate the house with.
I actually came up with these last year and let the kiddos in my oldest daughter’s class make them for their class party. I just didn’t take pics then, so I decided to pull these out again to post this year.
You will need:
~ Popsicle sticks ( I used medium sized ones)
~ Glue gun & Cropadile
~ Sparkle pipe cleaners (cut in half)
~ White paint
~ Glitter glue
Start by hot-gluing three sticks together to make a snowflake. Then, pop a small hole in the top of one with your Cropadile. If you want, paint the snowflakes white. I didn’t paint the ones for the party last year, but I really like the look of it. Now take your glitter glue and decorate them however suits your fancy…..Add the pipe cleaner and Ta-da!
These turned out really cute and the girls LoVeD making them! The glitter glue is super easy for kiddos to use and add plenty of sparkle, so you don’t need to add anything else to them or mess with gems and loose glitter.
These are so fun and you can make any design you want. My girls went on to make even more and wrote words on those ones (sorry, didn’t get pics). But they were adorable too! Cheap, easy, fun….that’s right up my alley! What kinds of crafts will your kiddos be making this year?
Have fun!
